We are now back in Solomons Island, MD docked at the Calvert Marina.
As of this week (June 21, 2009) the average Rockfish / Stripers are in the
Chesapeake Bay. The fishing is great now and I am doing a 3-11 pm trip
where we catch our limit of stripers and then go down the bay 18 miles and
catch some bluefish if you want and then set up for croaker until about 10
pm. The croaker are up to 16 to 18 inches. This fishing will be good through the
summer. The day trips will catch your stripers and then chase
blues or bottom fish for spot, perch and croaker.
